hi there....
so we've been avoiding flouride and then my sister was just talking today about studies that flouride is important for developing teeth (ds is getting his permanents soon and dd is getting her first teeth) and what if anything were we doing in place of flouride.... what do you all think about flouride or alternatives? we drink raw milk, trying for raw butter, get grassfed/pastured meat and eggs, but other than that, i don't know. are there other natural things we should be doing or brushing with? i see a lot of mention here about xylitol-- are there other things too? or is basic good nutrition enough?

also, what is a good toothpaste. i've been getting the weleda ones since they are flouride and sls free, but now i saw something here about glycerin also being a problem, and someone else says you don't really need toothpaste... i'm so confused! can someone help me with some info-- (preferably at a 10 y.o. reading level? i get confused w/ lots of scientific language! but i'll take what i can get....) thanks so much!
