1) What did you use be specific? Mainly infant ubcpfs, 1 kissaluv0, 3 flannel fitteds w/ velcro (unk wahm), under the nile sm organic, ecobaby 1 size, absorbital sm, sm fb, sm hh, sm wonderoo

2) How many diapers/covers did you have? 24 pfs, 12? asstd fitteds; 10 covers-- didnt even use some (basically rotate 3, although mainly used pullons during umb stump days)

3) How often did you wash? every 1.5-2 days

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)? At 8 wks the Kiss0 is really the only one that does not "stretch" enough

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash? I'd buy a couple nb covers, but i was basically happy.

6) how large were you babies when you used them? 8.9lbs to now (12 or 13lbs?)

7) any advice you'd like to give? i personally wdnt invest too much in fitteds & such. I really think PFs are great w/ nbs.

) What did you use be specific?
We are using CPFs and bummis SWW/proraps, with a couple of kissaluvs fitted thrown in. At 5 weeks, we just added FBs and HHs at night.

2) How many diapers/covers did you have?
30 CPFs (24 infant + 6 regular), 2 kissaluvs
2 proraps + 4 bummis

3) How often did you wash?
every 2-3 days

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?
Currently the infant CPFs are getting a bit snug on ds, but I can stretch out the fabric with the twist fold. The kissaluvs still fit (he is almost 6 weeks old, was 7,11 at birth and 22 inches).

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?
yes, but I wouldn't buy the kissaluvs. I would get a few more CPFs instead (seeing that the price of my 2 kissaluvs is the same as a dozen CPFs. I know everyone loves them, but I can't get into them).

6) how large were you babies when you used them?
see #4

7) any advice you'd like to give?
Sun sun sun for poop stains, works wonders. Using CPFs correctly is all about the folding method. We rarely get poop on the cover, and only once has it escaped the system competely (dh changed that one).

Prefolds, some small fireflys, fuzzibunz and happy heinys, and a couple of tiny aios... wool soakers and snap on covers, both side snap and front snap, wool and fleece.
2) How many diapers/covers did you have?
about 6-8 covers and 2-3 dozen diapers
3) How often did you wash?
every 2 days
4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?
She is still in infant prefolds at 4 months. The only thing she has outgrown is some of the size 0 and newborn size covers
5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?
I like prefolds and wool the best for a youngun.
6) how large were you babies when you used them?
My baby was born at *about* 9lbs (not sure if that is accurate) and, like I said, she is still in most of those items at 4 months and 13-14 pounds
7) any advice you'd like to give?
If money is major factor in what you buy then skip the newborn size stuff. They don't fit in it for very long at all and the small size fits fine. But if money is no object then definately get the tiny stuff cause its cute.
Write out some instructions for dh to wash diapers so that you don't have to worry about it for awhile, unless you don't trust him and truly enjoy diaper laundry.

Fitteds and AIOs made by me, Bummis SWW, Kissaluvs 1, small FBs, nb LL AIOs

2) How many diapers/covers did you have?
Not nearly enough at the beginning. 2 SWW covers, 2 FBs, 2 LL AIOs and about 10 fitteds and mommy made AiOs

3) How often did you wash?
Once, sometimes twice, a day

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?
Newborn size fit Holden until he was about 6 weeks old; he grew out of the nb LLs sooner than that

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?
No - I had no wool and I would definitely have more fitteds and wool. I would not have used the Bummis

6) how large were you babies when you used them?
Holden was 7.9 at birth; grew out of nb dips at 6-7 weeks at about 11 lbs

7) any advice you'd like to give?
Wool is a great thing
If you have big babies, buy med. LLs. The won't fit immediately, but the nb ones won't fit very long
Don't stock up on any one thing before the baby is born. But 1-2 of each thing and then see what works best for you and your baby
Have fun and buy what you like

Well I didn't CD Austin until he was 7 months, and Hunter is only 10 days old. So I have 10 days of newborn cloth diapering experience. LOL

1) What did you use be specific?
We have 27 Kissaluv Colors size 0 for fitteds.
I also have 8/9 Prorap covers (with the umbilical cord cutout) - I've only used these a few times. I usually keep him without a cover since I change him so often anyways.
We have 2 AIO's (a Nemo Angelwraps, and a Bottoms Up one). Not nessisary, but Ausitn loves the Nemo one on his brother).
We also have a NB stacinator cover, and 3 Polar wraps covers. I love the polar wraps covers. We also have 2 wool soakers that I also love. If he's wearing a cover I'll definately use the polar wraps & soakers first, then stacinator, then proraps.

2) How many diapers/covers did you have?
See above.

3) How often did you wash?
Well I have 2 in diapers, but I typically wash every other day. If I have little to no other laundry to do, then I wash every day (I love doing laundry though!).

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?
It's too early for me to answer this.

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?
The Kissaluvs - definately! I would've liked to try a bunch of WAHM fitted diapers as well, but not instead of them. The proraps I would've skipped. The AIO's are fun just cause they have cute prints, but not nessisary. I'd definately buy more soakers & polar fleece covers cause they're so soft & cute, and the kissaluvs hold the BF poop in so well I haven't had any leaks.

6) how large were you babies when you used them?
Hunter was 8lbs 8oz at birth and on Sunday he was 8lbs 12oz.

1) What did you use be specific?

Well, I've cd'd about three nb now. This time I used 18 Bizzy B Hive nb fitteds, 10 Nanipoo nb, 4 Little Caboose size 0 and 2 Kissaluv 0's. Just today I realized that she can now (at 2 weeks old) can wear her small Softies (we have 5 of these) and Mudpies (3 of these). I also have a couple dozen infant prefolds, but I haven't gotten around to using them because the fitteds are just too cute. Though I did use infant cpf's alot with cd'd baby #2 and they worked great, too.

2) How many diapers/covers did you have?

See above for the diaper count. I have 9 nb Proraps (could have gotten away with less I think since the fitteds have held in the poo really well), 2 nb Holy Sheep soakers, 1 Tuesday Bear small wool cover, 1 Mudpie cover (I love this one), 4 small Bummis. These are all covers that fit her now.

3) How often did you wash?

I have 2 in diapers so I wash every other day though I have enough diaper that I could go another day if the diaper pail wasn't full, LOL!

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?

She is only 2 weeks old so they all still fit. She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. at birth. Of the nb dipes, I can tell she is going to outgrow the Kissaluvs and LC Size 0 soon though, the Nanipoos next and I think the Bizzy B's will fit the longest.

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?

Absolutely....I'm completely satisfied with my nb stash this time. Hey! Third time was a charm :

6) how large were you babies when you used them?

Like I said, she was 8 lbs. 1 oz at birth and she's two weeks old. So I can't really say how long they will fit.

7) any advice you'd like to give?

If you are going to use infant cpf's, please save yourself some aggravation and invest in some snappi's. I found that simply laying them in a wrap does not work well with bf poo the hard way.

1) What did you use be specific? 22 kissaluvs 0, 12 premie PFs, 12 infant PFs, 2 NB prowraps, 2 NB Bumkins, 2 NB Bummis

2) How many diapers/covers did you have? see above

3) How often did you wash? every other day

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)? I think I was using the kissaluvs and premie PFs until about 6 weeks, my baby was only 5 lb 7 oz to start though, the kissaluvs still fit at 12 weeks/9 lbs, but are too soaking wet.

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash? I liked our stash alot at the time, but think I remember thinking I would do something different next time but can't remember what that was, maybe it was getting more PFs less kissaluvs, not sure. I did like the all fleece, MUCH better then the fleece/terry kissaluvs, so I would probably do all fleece next time.

6) how large were you babies when you used them? Started at 5 lbs 7 oz, probably moved to smalls around 7 or 8 lbs, smalls are still big but we need it for the absorbing power.

bleached 4x8x4 infant cpfs
covers: NB/small sized proraps, bummis, kushies

2) How many diapers/covers did you have?
ordered 5 covers, then ordered 3 more!

3) How often did you wash?
every 2 days

4) How long did they last (as in how long did they fit your baby)?
6-7 weeks

5) If given the chance would you use the same stash?
I would never order a kushie cover-way to big and bad quality IMO. I would use the newborn prorap-the perfect size, and the cut out really helped! Bummis are good, but no cut-out, and the proraps are so cheap! I would use infant 4x6x4-the 4x8x4 were to much bulk.

6) how large were you babies when you used them?
8.8-13 lbs.

7) any advice you'd like to give?
I did the trifold/place in cover thing, and that got messy. I really love my prefolds with pins or a snappi. I never was able to snappi or pin the infant sized-just not wide enough-I never had enough to work with on the sides. However... I must say that I was new to cloth and maybe not the best folder and not well versed with the snappi! Also...I was trying to use the newspaper fold. I know that the snappi would have worked well with the bikini fold. My baby was born just a little big but got really big fast. I decided to only order nb stuff then order small stuff later, but we were out of the nb stuff fairly early, so next time I will order smalls and regular CPFS on top of the nb stuff! So...my future NB stash:

24 unbleached(softer!)infant 4x6x4 cpfs,
24-30 regular cpfs,
7-8 prorap newborn covers
A variety of small covers(bummis/WAHM wool)

*If you are into fitteds, I have heard so many wonderful things about kissa sz 0.
