Can NFP be used to tell when you get your first ovulation post partum? It doesn't have to be 100% or even 95 because we use another method too, but I'd like to know if it would be helpful to keep track now, it's been over 7 months breastfeeding and I've been crampy but no AF. I'm really glad I opted against the minipill at 2 months, this extended break from cycles has been nice, but I'm just worried I will get pg too soon and not have a clue I even could.

I'm not expert on this, but for what I have read, yeah, if you keep track of your temps and your vaginal discharge you should be able to tell when your first ovulation is about to come.
