My son is 10 months and still EBF. I have not gotten my period yet. Sex with condoms is KILLING me b/c I am so dry from the breastfeeding. I'd like to ditch the condoms but I don't want a pregnancy. What can I do?

IUD and hormones are not an option.

I don't want to use spermicides either.

I just wanted to say that you could drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out until you get AF. I had no sucess until them.

For me, I had no problem realizing when my fertility returned - you'll notice that you aren't dry anymore!!!! NFP works great for us.

I started charting when DS was about that age. Then af returned in a few months.

For me my signs were not normal while breastfeeding.

Even my midwife thought I was having annovulatory cycles, but apparently not because I ended up pregnant! I used TCOYF software as well and it said it couldn't predict ovulation either. I temped & followed Cp & Cm. Crazy! It was great though when not nursing. I used it to get pregnant with #1 & #2. I think for some women nursing hormones are more of an effect than with other women.
