We live in the Upper Valley of NH. We just moved from Texas. Our son was born in May. We took him to the doctor...grrr she told me to keep him away from kids for 2 years. I wasn't going to go to his next visit, b ut for his month visit she gave me some info assuming that I didn't reasearch it. Then I forgot it. Today it comes in the mail!!!! So I want to find a new doctor that will respect my decision.

Sorry to hear that you have such a problem with your doctor, we just found recently one good one in Manchester, I guess too far for you to drive though. With the other peds I had all kinds of different issues, like showing no interest in my child etc.
I have to say though that the nurse made me sign a waver, that the practice is not liable if anything should happen to my child blah blah blah. The doctor just looked over the medical record sheet and that was it, no mention of vaxing or not, also not from the nurse. I know that they have a few patients who do not like to get their kids vaxed, as I found him through recommendation as well, but man was it hard so far to find a decent doctor!
Hope you find somebody good soon!

Oh, yuck!

Where was that? Keep away from kids for 2 years...

We love Mitch ******, but he's in Ludlow, Vermont, which is a bit of a trek for you.
Check him out if you can't find anyone closer.
But then we don't need to go much if you're not vaxing- no shot schedule, and no illnesses

P.S. I do an Infant/Toddler breastfeeding-friendly playgroup in Springfield, Vermont, if you'd ever want to come down and hang with some cool progressive mamas.
We have about seven core regulars, most with kids between six months and two years. We have a lot of fun.
We meet Tuesday mornings- PM me for details if you like.

I
: LOVE
: Becky Foulk in S. Royalton VT. Very no-vax friendly, and just really great in general. I used to drive 45 minutes to see her, and now have moved 2 hrs away, but sometimes daydream about just using her still anyway....

She's probably 30 minutes or so from you, depending on how long it takes you to get to I89 from your house...

Springfield is exit 7 off of I-91, so maybe 25 minutes?
