We live in Bothell and recently had a HORRIBLE experience at the dentist with my 3YO DD. Anyway, we are looking for someone new and closeby that myself and DH and DD could all go to (and DS eventually when he has more than 4 teeth).
Suggestions? We want someone who is a nice person and is good with kids. This other dentist we saw was outrageously mean to DD. TIA!

Hi there! I recently took my 2 yo son (on his birthday) to the dentist at http://www.woodinvillesmiles.com/. He fell at his party and broke his 3 front teeth. Our "family" dentist wanted to put him asleep to treat him. I found Dr. Rama's site and they got us right in. She was fabulous, as was her staff. The office is very neat with kid friendly stuff everywhere, tv in the ceiling over the chairs. They let me hold him while they filed and treated his teeth. For something so scary they made it a fun experience. They sang to him the whole time. He only cried at the end because I had to hold him still.
It is right downtown Woodinville, so should be convenient for you. I'm sorry you had a bad dentist experience.

We use Dr. Mark Salema in Totem Lake (Kirkland). He is wonderful, very gentle and very concerned with making everything as pain free as possible. He will work with you to make sure your children are not scared of him. He has extracted 6 teeth from my DS and DS never felt any pain. My kids get mad when it's not their turn to go! He is a family dentist, not pediatric, so he can see all of you. I recommend him to everyone looking for a dentist.
