THIS from Pampered Chef. I got it as a freebie for ordering a certain amt at the last party I went to. It's really for breaking up hamburger, etc while cooking, but I was struggling with a new jar of PB the other night and gave it a whirl. It worked great--fit perfectly into the mouth of the jar and cut through all the peanut solids to stir the oil back in.

Just thought I'd pass it along

Hey, that is pretty nifty. When I read "gadget", I was picturing something that turned on and spins or something.
I wish it was stainless steel. Now that would be cool.

I store my pb upside down before opening it. All the oil runs to the bottom of the jar, so that when I open it to mix it, all the oil is on the bottom and it's super easy to stir it around with a butter knife in a couple of seconds with no slopping.

That looks like a cool gadget. Does it only chop soft things like breaking up a can of tomatoes?

Thanks for the idea! I love it!

Yeah, it would be nice if it came in something other than plastic, but I guess it's designed so that it doesn't scratch non-stick pans.

I store mine upside down, too, but for some reason that new jar I opened the other night was really difficult to stir.
