I hate to use the term blindness, but I don't know how else to describe it, and if you google it, the symptoms match. My DD becomes disoriented and a little scared in the dark, not total darkness, as I can see and DS seems to be able to as well.
I guess my question is does anyone have experience with this? I actually came across an article, while googling DD's symptoms, about fear of the dark being related to night blindness. For now, I'm going to get a night light, to see if it makes her more comfortable, but I'm curious what the future implications are. If her vision is compromised in the dark, will she be able to drive at night? I do plan to discuss it with her ped next month.
Thanks
