I am brand new to this. My friend recently introduced me to the world of cloth diapers, and has even gotten me to the point of switching. My problem is that my daughter is a heavy wetter and sleeps 13-14 hrs a night. I have tried using fb, HH, and numerous other diapers overnight to have all of them leak. My friend had me try wool last night and to my surprise and joy found that it worked. I am now looking for a fitted diaper that will work under the cover. I would like a fleece lined because she sleeps so long and I don’t want her to get a rash. So the question is what fitted diaper do you like best overnight, and is also very absorbent and fleece lined and where do I get it? Thanks for your help.

oh, maybe a Nightdreamer Benjamuffins? They have a fleece topped doubler that goes in them. I really liked the one I had. And they got good reviews at the diaper pin

Sharee, how much troubleshooting have you done with the FB's and HH?
What were you using in them at night and how were they leaking? Was the inside stuffing still somewhat dry when it leaked or was it soaking wet? What were you stuffing them with?I know you like wool and want to use it, but you already have some pocket diapers that you could also use, I think, if we could figure out why they aren't working....
For night, I like hemp prefolds. Nighty Newts or Samuel's Soakers or Babykicks or Polarbabies. We have heavy wetters, though.
For fitteds, Liz's Cloth size 2 works well at night (Nighty Noodle is extra absorbant), and I hear good things about Firefly's night diaper for babies with chubby thighs.

I have tried the hemp joey, prefolds, terry, and maybe more. The inserts were soaked. Sometimes it just leaked out and her and her bedding were soaked and other times it was wicking. With the fb no matter how i cheked it always leaked or wicked. I tried in the wool last night with a large prefold, and a small prefold and they were 3/4 soaked, from the front most the way up the back. I actually don't own an fb or an HH Kaelynn let me barrow some of hers to try out. Great friend to have. So I haven't invested in them, and if i am going to have to worry about them leaking or mess with stuffing them then it would just be easier to use something diffrent, plus I love the cute wool designs.

I know I know, I say this a lot, but I LOVE Sugarbums! I am sure Heidi would line them with Micro for you if you asked (as has been noted, she can be talked into trying a lot ). They are my ONLY overnight diaper that we LOVE LOVE LOVE! I use CPF's snappi'd during the day and Sugarbums for night. They work great!

Oh yeah and To you and the CD dark side! ~

What 'bout Firefly sleep tights? Yes, they're expensive but you can get by w/two. I use them on super soaker dd with an aristocrat and I just cut my own fleece liners.

For ds, I love the nighty newts, granted they're prefolds but those suckers hold a lot! My HH failed on DS for nightime too

I 3rd the Firfely Sleep Tight Diapers. Not trim (But I don't feel trimness is necessary for night) and no fleece. But if you want something to hold all that pee, this is the diaper for you! You can put your own fleece liners in it.

I'll 4th the Firefly Sleeptight diapers; they are all that I use at nightime, with a wool soaker. I'll sometimes replace the doubler that comes with the diaper with a microfleece topped doubler from somewhere else.

The only issue that I have with the ST is that the legs are huge on it (like all the FF's)-- and although I do have a skinny babe with relatively thin thighs, I'd ideally prefer a medium (which may soon be forthcoming, so I hear). The huge legs doesn't give me any real trouble, though, as long as DS is changed before he gets up and runs around. He has a talent for poo'ing first thing in the morning, so I prefer that he have a fresh diaper just for that. Otherwise (like this morning, a lazy Sunday one), the poos squishes out of the leg holes (or falls out of the leg holes, more accurately, and I have poopy soaker and pj's.

I'm not sure if you meant closed today or closed in general. You have to call the phone number to order, but they are not closed in general. They are closed today because it is sunday. I'm not sure that that made sense....sorry.

Hi Sharee,

We had the same experience as you did. Our son sleeps and nurses a lot at night, so he soaked right through everything we tried at first. And we found that if we stuffed enough in the FB to absorb his pee, the FB didn't fit tightly around his skinny legs anymore, and he leaked out the leg! Finally, we've found a system that works fantastically. We use several joeybunz or folded flat diapers (prefolds or a Samuel's soaker would also work great) inside a mom-and-me-creations Woolly Dream (www.mom-and-me-creations.com). Before we tried the Woolly Dream, the only combination we had found to keep him sort-of-dry in our family bed was a his big hemp flat dipe snappied with a shorts-style soaker over it. This was o.k., but didn't always keep him completely dry and was pain to put on him before we go to bed (when he's already asleep and does not take kindly to being waken up!). We hadn't found any wrap-style soakers or pocket diapers that could accomodate the amount of soaker that he needs at night. Everything changed with the wonderful Woolly Dream, which is intended for night diapering. We just lay the soaker(s) inside it, put a microfleece topper on (from www.thanksmama.com - free shipping!), and wrap him up in his Woolly Dream. And he and our bed stay dry all night!! YAY!!! It's machine washable too, and Jen is awesome to work with!

If anyone knows of a pocket dipe that would hold 4 Joeys and still fit right on the legs (on a skinny baby), please LMK. Would be nice when our Woolly Dream is drying from being washed. But our soaker with Woolly Dream is AWESOME!!
