My little one is due in about 8 weeks.

I have an 4 prowraps and two bummis for covers. But was thinking about a nighttime cover.

I was really looking into a NB Stacinator Fleece cover.

Any recommendations? And how many nighttime covers do you need? OR do you just use the bummis or prowraps?

I always changed ds when he awoke to be fed. If you're not planning on doing that (perhaps you are co-sleeping and just want to roll over, feed the baby and go back to sleep) I heartily recommend using a more absorbant diaper than you use during the day and covering it with wool. My recommendation would be a Ribby Wrap because they are thick and fit well over a variety of different diaper styles. To find a Ribby Wrap, go here and click on the links to the various stores to see how is selling them or offering custom slots.

I used a loveybums wool cover until the cord fell off and then went to FBs. I loved the wool but didn't want to keep changing him every 3 hours. If you want to use the prefolds, I highly recommending getting some type of doubler. The bummis will work also but I like the "breathing" aspect to the wool for longer stretches.

In the beginning you change much more often and they pee less.

I have a wool loveybums for night and would recommend wool. But really...I don't think it makes much difference in the beginning, I just like that wool breathes

My DD pooped every time she ate for at least a month, maybe more, so I just used the ordinary PUL covers at night. I was changing too often to need anything more. Once she stopped pooping with every change, we could sometimes go awhile at night without a change, and I think wool is the best choice if you're going to try to go awhile without changing.
