But he's bites my nipple EVERYTIME we nurse...Just once, right at the beginning, a bite and then on with a great latch and no other pain but I don't know why he bites me that first time...any one else go through his?<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/winner.jpg" style="border:0px solid;" title="BFSymbol">

I would guess that your let down is not fast enough for him and he is trying to give you encouragement. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Maybe try a warm compress right before nursing.
