Many have said it-but I mean it. Yesterday, I went against my better judgement and fiances (OY) and bought an adorable prefold (cheaper than others, but still money). Today, I learned that the part time job I rely on to pay the bills (almost anyway

was cut in half-so I no longer have any choices-hell I will be lucky to keep my car and house.
So, with that said, after I try to sell my stash down to 1 days worth of Pf's, I will probably not be around here much-though not that anybody will really notice anyway.
It has been fun living vicariously through all you hyenas-and through my brief stint as a hyena

Aww, please don't go! Plenty around here don't buy or don't buy often! We can still muse and talk diapers and bottoms and prefold folds, etc! I hope that things change and all of a sudden you're needed more again! Just tell your 16 year old NO!

Yeah, that wasn't a word in my 16 year old vocabulary either! :LOL

thanks Jenn, but I am more than likely going to loose my computer and internet as well-800 a month just doesn't go very far

I know exactly how you feel - my DH just lost his job, so no more dipes for me either. But I don't think you should leave! Even a big pack of rapid Hyenas couldn't keep me from here, even though I won't be part of the throng right now.

but it is better then living in the streets. Not far from that as it is but heck I still come here and enjoy everyone elses goodies. I am sorry your having such a hard time. I know what it is like.

I have tried to keep things together for the last year, and it has been unravelling for a while now-this morning was just the proverbial straw that broke the camels back-I am despondent, there are no jobs here and I have no money to move anywhere where there are jobs

Gosh, that sucks the big galactic weiner and I know where your coming from as I am in a big bind myself. What about custom orders? Have you considered that?

what really sucks is that with my education and background, I should be making 50 thou and over a year-but NO, no jobs here, and of the few jobs there are-I am OVERQUALIFIED so I don't get those either.

Shan I would say come live with me but I have no extra rooms and could only offer a couch here in California.But if you ever need shelter you and Harley are welcome anytime.

Thanks mama. I am working on getting a paper route in the early am to make some money.

The economy is very bad these days. Inflation is also very high.
