I am enjoying washing my face with baking soda and honey. Now I am intrigued by no-pooing. Do you use baking soda, ACV, etc to stop using shampoo? Or are they replacements for shampoo? Anyone feel like giving me a run-down of no-pooing?
Thanks!

Everyone here is very knowledgeable, but if you look back a few pages there are many threads about no-pooing. There's a probability that your question can be answered - and more you didn't even realize you had!

Check these out for help. Basically the idea (as I get it) is to wash with a little bit of baking soda (1 Tbs bs/1 cup water) every few days. If your hair is long or if it is in good health you may be able to wash as infrequesntly as once a week/month. After the de-tox period you'll have to figure out what works for your scalp. After washing you condition with ACV rinse. I have to wash my hair once every two weeks or so but I tend to get a little greasy so I use cornstarch in between to soak up the greasiness. (very little or you end up looking like a ghost! lol!) The hardest part is a)de-toxing: you may look like a drownded rat for up to two months... scarves maybe? and b)figuring out what will work for your head.
good luck and have fun!
