I am considered "high risk" because I delivered DD at 30 weeks for no reason (went in to labor the first time at 27w6d, but they managed to hold it off for two weeks and 3 days) but have STILL not had a prenatal appointment. I got pregnant four weeks after delivering DD, which would make me think that they'd want to keep an even closer eye on me. Apparently not.
I called the office a few weeks ago to try and set up a prenatal appointment, reminded them of who I was, and of my history, and the nurse basically said, "we'll get back to you." UGH. Then my MW called and sent me for a urinalysis to get a "baseline" (even though I was already 12wks pg at that point) but I haven't heard back from her either.
I'm supposed to start receiving progesteron injections at 18 weeks, which is 5 weeks from today. I think I'm going to try and call the office again tomorrow to get some kind of prenatal appointment, because it's kind of freaking me out. I was in there every four weeks starting at 8 weeks with DD, and then was supposed to go every two weeks after wk30, but never made it that far, obviously.
For someone who is considered high risk, you'd think they'd be more aggressive about seeing me!
