Hi everybody in southern LA and MS and anybody else interested:

Last month a few of us met at the LA Children's Museum and had a fun morning together with out little ones and even a hubby (yeah Greg!). We made tentative plans for another get together for this coming weekend, so I'm checking (very late, sorry!) everybody's availability and wishes. Do we still want to get together on Sunday morning, September 28 at the Daneel Street playground on St. Charles Avenue? I'm open to all suggestions for dates, times, locations! Hope to hear from folks.

Sorry tug, but we just got in late last night from Houston. I've had enough driving for a few days. We have to go to Houston every other Friday for the next couple of months, but I'm hoping we can fly for some of those trips so I won't be so wiped out. Let's try for an October get-together.

Hi Saundra:

Sorry about all of the Houston driving. I know it will all be for a good purpose though. So I'm guessing you've had some success in Houston? And how are you yourself? I tried to pm you last week, but am not sure if you got it.

Sorry you'll miss the plant show. Hope you get some rest!

Wohoo this is my 100th post!

Anyway, I am so sorry we will not be able to come either, we ALL contracted rotovirus from a birthday party last weekend! It is highly contagious and I would not want anyone else to go through what we have this week!:puke

Let's try again in a couple of weeks, I really want to get together with everyone! Sorry we will have to miss out!

Hi tug, I'm doing well and so are the boys. Magnus has been wearing his cranial band for 2 weeks and he has already seen some correction. I think that by the time we're done, no one will be able to tell that he ever had plagiocephaly. We think Magnus looks like a little gladiator with his helmet so Greg is sculpting a Pegasus to glue onto the helmet then painting it all gold to resemble an ancient Greek helmet.
How is baby James? What's his latest milestone?

Puddinnpeanut, I am so sorry to hear that you are all sick. How awful for you! My best friend's kids had rotavirus, and she said she seriously thought that her oldest son might die; he was so weak and dehydrated. I hope you have some help taking care of your sick babies, especially since you are sick yourself. Please keep us posted.

BTW, during this last trip to Houston, I visited with another MDC mama. Her screen name is Soogie. We met each other through LLL when she lived in Lafayette. She brought both her kids to our hotel and we all went for a swim and then the whirlpool.
