All I could give you is my Pedi won't kick you out of her practice with no vax, but will lobby for you to vax, and she says forskin should be retracted by 6 yrs.

Dr Ezekiel in Richardson, she's a really sweat lady that owns her own practice, and she's excellent for sick care and you can just smile and nod for the rest of it. But I've been told she's not worth arguing with.

Dr. Nina Cahan in Coppell is an M.D. but also incorporates some naturopathic/homeopathic methods to her practice. I have not gone to see her yet, but plan to in the future. She is a family practitioner and will even to GYN. Wild Child Weaver has known her for years and is the one who recommended her to our AP group. Everyone who has gone to see her raves about her. It's not in Plano, but I've been told she's worth the drive. I can't find the original link I had for her, but here's one I found doing a google search.

I love our chiro, but he is in Highland Village so it may be more of a drive than you want. I recently asked for recs on the apdallasmoms boards...I can go look through the archives and see what other names were given if no one else offers suggestions. Good luck!

Dr. Rob Methvin off of the Dallas North Tollway and 121 is an AMAZING chiropractor! He specializes in Webster and really knows his stuff. First visit is $50 (one time fee for the whole family) and all other visits are $25. His website is: http://www.back-2health.com/ I go to Dr. Bekker but would also be interested if anyone knows of any other pediatricians in the area....

I attended a birth which Cahan was the attending! She is just the nicest lady out there & very smart. If I lived in Coppell, I would be sending my child to her (& me too).

Cahan isn't in our network
but I got a tip from someone on another board. Dr. Tammy Kennedy in Dallas. Supportive of breastfeeding and cosleeping and respectful of vax and circ decisions. She's covered by our plan too, which is a bonus.

Oh that's too bad about Cahan, but I'm sure Dr. Kennedy will be awesome too. You must be on apdallasmoms too. Nice to *meet* you over here too! I don't know if you've looked on the "DFW Mommies" thread, but there are a few of us getting together for a playdate tomorrow in Coppell. Don't know if you'd be interested in joining us sometime, but wanted to be sure to invite you.
