Now that I've jumped in with my dr request. The tribal ares frighten me, I had images of loin cloths and bonfires :LOL No actually I've look in a couple of times and seen mostly CT, RI, and western MA posts. I know there got to be a couple of north shore mummys around here.
So
I live in Gloucester waaay out in the end of the earth, or so it feels sometimes. I'm from Lynn and lived there until a few years ago. I have a ds who's 7 and a 4mth old dd

Hi there. I grew up in Ipswich, right next to Gloucester. I know what you mean about being "out there." My husband didn't want to be that far from the city, so we live in North Andover now. I often spend weekends in Ipswich too. I have a 7-month old son. Perhaps we got rendez-vous for a playdate sometime, if you are interested.

Hi! I'm from Peabody. Well, I grew up in the next town over, but we've lived in Peabody for about 4 years. I have a good friend who lives in Magnolia, and we go to magnolia beach and Good Harbor all the time. We should meet one day! I'll go anywhere for a playdate!

Take care,
Andie

No - Lynnfield. But we belonged to a temple in Peabody and as there are no Jews in Lynnfield, most of my friends were from Peabody. I graduated in 89, most of my friends in Peabody in 90.

We bought this house almost 5 years ago, and love the community.

Take care,

Oh yeah, lots of Jews in Peabody. In fact, if I remember correctly, we would get some Jewish holidays off. I lived on Lynnfield Street in South Peabody so I was right on the border of Lynn, Lynnfield and Peabody by Goodwin's and Quick Kava. But I'm assuming you were probably closer to West Peabody. That is where most of the Jewish population lives.

I love Peabody and would love to move back someday but the houses are so expensive. We actually looked online at a house in South Peabody last night even though we don't have any plans on moving yet. My husband drove by it today to check it out.

I graduated in 93. I wonder if we know some of the same people!

That's so funny - we live in South Peabody, right off of Lynnfield Street. It's so convenient, and a very friendly, down-to-earth, working class neighborhood. I can't stand W. Peabody. Well, some of the people there, not the entire area. I have an aunt who will correct someone if they say she's from Peabody and say that it's actually West Peabody. What is the difference????

Quikava is now a Dunkin Donuts, and Goodacre farms is being turned into senior living. Well, the land, not the restaurant.

Houses are out of control here, a house on our street just sold for $469,000 and it's a split level, like every other house on the street. That amazes me.

Take care!

That is one thing I really loved about living on Lynnfield street was how easy it was to pop on 128/95 or Rte 1. My husband who also lived on Lynnfield street said that he hates it because of the noise. He lived down by South Memorial School. The noise didn't seem to bother me though except in the summer when you are trying to watch tv and have the windows open. Then you have to turn the tv way up. He hates the traffic in Peabody too. I don't think it is as bad as Salem, Beverly, Lynn and it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah, I knew Quick Kava changed over but I didn't remember into what. I would have loved that when I lived there. I would always drive to Danvers to the one by the mall because I didn't like going to the ones in downtown.

I know they put a tiny house on that little island on the right as you head toward the rotary near Lynch Street and Elmwood Circle and that went for over $400k I think. It's so awkardly placed and small. I can't believe it.

That is why it will be a long time before we can move down there. We can't afford that and we don't have that much equity in our house yet.

I was friends with Breanne! I used to go to Pine Acres when I was in Middle School/High School and used to hang out with her there! Oh the trouble we got in, LOL! That's too funny! I haven't seen her in ages. I hope she's doing well!

Ok Vicki, I talked to Bre yesterday. She definately remembers you and tried to help me to remember you but I still don't. She even tried to describe where your site was. She has two cousins named Melissa. We are actually best friends me and Melissa. Do you remember either of us?

Now I do! Now that you said she had 2 cousins named Melissa I remember you both, funny how the mind works! One Melissa was really really short and one had a Foster sister named Annette, right? Which one are you, LOL?

My site was in the middle of no where so you probably wouldn't remember where it was
I was also younger than you so that's probably why you don't remember. There were a lot of us there! Especially from Peabody, funny how that happened.

How is Bre? Hope she's doing well! Wow her little brothers must be full grown men by now!

Annette was my foster sister. There really were alot of us from Peabody. Alot of us were all related and or friends before coming to PA.

Bre is doing great. I saw her Sunday at my grandmothers. She came over to see the baby. She is a manager for Enterprise Rent-a-car. Ian and Garrett are good too. Ian is getting married in October.

I remember you
Honestly I don't know if I've ever spoken with you, but I remember who you are (I have a strangely good memory), blond hair and glasses, right? I can't find my cordless phone but I can remember you

Congrats on the baby! I hope all is going well. This is a great place to find info and support if you need it!
