Hi all!
Probably moving to NOVA in the summertime. I want to know about any local publications besides major newspapers that would list houses for rent. There are a few here in MD that also do an online classified; I'd love it if I can find a publication like that for VA.
DH works in Sterling and we live in Baltimore. It's such an awful commute that we really just need to finally move. We're looking for something in a 20 mile radius, preferably less to make it as worthwhile as possible.
Take care
20 mile radius in Sterling is going to be expensive and crowded. And saddly the commute of 20 miles will take nearly an hour due to the heavy load of traffic (depending on time of day).

We live in Winchester on the eastern side near Route 7. My dh commutes on Rt 50 to Chantilly. It takes him an hour. He use to commute to Reston on Rt 7 and the Greenway. He goes to Baltimore on occcassion and it's 2 hours, but a much more peaceful drive. I've taken one of my children to Baltimore to see a specialist, not a bad drive.

My suggestion is go into a local gas station in Sterling and pick up the local Rental guide. I just went and got them for a friend and actually had to go to the Visitor Center b/c the gas station was out. The Chamber of Commerce is also a location to look for these Rental publications. We have 2 publications for our area, so I'm sure there must be one or two for the Leesburg area.
