Hi!
Anyone have any good recommendations for a cut your own tree place? I'd prefer a place that has something extra- hot cider, animals, or a tractor ride to the tree farm, etc. Since it's usually a bit of a drive- it's nice to make it an event, you know?

That sounds fun! i'm game (especially if I can mooch someone's pass, ours expired, lol) And if anyone wants to schedule anything max-friendly for next week.. please do! My sanity depends on it. Dh is going to Germany for a week, and me and Allie are going to be alllll alone
Anyone wanna come over and play? I don't drive so basically.... I can walk to Me Too, and I can walk to the max station (and we only really ever go to the children's museum).. other than that *gulp* we're housebound for a week. Oh and if anyone has never been to Me Too before and wants to check it out, I have a buddy pass. If we go together, we both get free kids play (its normally $5, no hourly rate, unlimited in and out privelages) soo.. if you wanna go, sometime next week is GREAT! dh leaves tuesday morning.

What a totally appropriate title for the Dec thread!

Where and what is Me Too?

ZooLights sounds fun! We have a pass too. Not sure if I can talk my man into going with a group though.

Nicole, that craft fair this Fri & Sat is at the Newberg Masonic Lodge. Oh wait, I said that already huh, because you said it was close to you. I'm dumb. I should delete. But nope.

So, I have to brag. Today my grandma took me away for an early birthday surprise. It was a DOUBLE massage! Two sets of hands rubbing me for an hour! We need a melting into a pile of buttah smilie. Soooo nice.

www.metoobeaverton.com It's on baseline, right next to the elmonica max station. Its a little cafe, and they have a separate area (walls and a door, but there's big windows for spying) with toys and a babysitter
They'll take one kid (I have no idea if siblings are discounted) for $5 for as long as you're there (you can literally sit with a book for as long as you want/the kids will tolerate!) and the kids can go in and out if they need you. Oh and there's free wifi too!

Oh, i could use some Me Too! Can I set my sewing machine up in the corner? Probably not. But I could knit. And if I had a Kindle I could read while doing it.

A double massage. Niiiice! I bet it helped with your cold, too... flushing everything out of your system. Where did you go? You know, I think I'd rather have a double long massage with one person. I mean, the two massage therapists would have to be pretty synchronized or I'd feel out of balance. I'd think it would be hard to get the same pressure, etc. I wouldn't turn it down, though!

I want to go to Me Too!

Nothing terribly exciting happening on this end. I got a job doing seasonal sales at Macy's in Washington Square. The hubby is still searching. I feel like I spend far too much time sitting in my house now that I'm broke, lol. I need to get out!

If I remember I'll ask a friend of mine where he gets his tree every year. They do the whole hay ride, apple cider, Santa thing at the tree farm that he goes to. I have an artificial tree so it's been a few years since I've shopped for one.

I didn't see it before, so thanks for posting again

I am aiming for this Friday for zoolights if my SIL will go and if this great weather sticks around. I am afraid it will be too crowded if I try to go on the weekend.

they have a sliding scale, it's 5 for the 1st kid, 4$ for the 2nd and so on. And then they have discount days as well. kjhg

Yeah me too is a great place to knit! there's even a knitting group that meets there every other wednesday. It's never a very big group, and there's not like an established group of people who always come, so you'll never really feel like the odd one out, ya know? Oh and my buddy pass thing is only valid if I bring someone who's never been before, so if you wanna be my buddy and save us both $5, pm me
And next week Allie and I will be very lonely so if anyone wants to come over and let your lo run wild with Allie, we'd love ya!! Or if anyone wants to meet at the children's museum or something, that'd be fun too!

Wow. Our thread is the deadest.

I'm watching 70's Sesame Street from the library. I totally remember this stuff! Loving it. It was so much better back then.

Today is my birthday. DH is putting the kids to bed and I get to do whatevs

I got a rice cooker. Which I am actually super excited about.

and now I'm going to watch Californication till my eyeballs catch on fire.

MeToo sounds so effing awesome. As long as my kids would play and not just scratch at the windows crying for me to come get them. Ellie, we should bring our sewing machines and see how they react.

I've gone twice. I usually forget. And since its every other wednesday I never have any idea whether its an on week or an off week unless I check the site. I need to knit though. I have a half finished pair of longies to finish!
