My DD is 9 months old and I went back to work full time when she was just over 3 months. I have been very lucky to have a office to pump in and I usually try to pump every 2 hours. Before this month I was able to get about 16-18 ounces a day while at work, but now I am pumping the same and only getting 10 if I'm lucky. What could cause this? The only time I have ever seen my supply usually drops when I get my period but I am not close right now. The other change we recently made was DD no longer cosleeps. She was getting very uncomfortable in our bed and actually really enjoys sleeping in her crib. She sleeps better and doesnt wake up as much. Could this cause the drop in supply? I hate to put her back in my bed and make her uncomfortable just to increase supply YKWIM? What would you do and what do you think is the issue?

Make sure the pump is working properly. Most pumps need a new valve or to have something replaced after several months of heavy use.

I really love the kellymom website. It's so thorough and informative about breastfeeding.

Have you looked into a Galactagogue? I use Breastea at http://www.breastea.com and it has really upped my milk supply. I know some other moms that use stuff like this as well. There are several kinds out there.
