I am completely not interested in picking out names yet.... is that weird? With DS I had a complete list of first and middle names and different combinations. This time, I am not even interested at all yet - at 26 wks in. I'm afraid I'm going to have one of those poor babies that doesn't get named for a year.

Totally not weird. I only just started thinking about names for this baby. Our first two we chose at birth because we wanted/needed to meet our girls first <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> .

Not weird at all~ your baby probably already knows his/her name and you don't have to fret <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">.

We have a boy name because we will use the same one we picked for our first pregnancy. We have kinda sorta talked about girl names but... yeah not really. I'm hoping its a boy because I don't know that I have another girl name I love.

Just the beginning of a long childhood of #2 getting the short end of the stick. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"><br><br>
Just kidding. It was the same for us. With #1 we obsessed over names, just like we obsessed over so much stuff. With #2 we were like "Hmm, we should think up a name at some point" until about a week before he was born and we were all "OMG, the baby needs a name! We should do that at some point!"<br><br>
I think we started seriously discussing it on the ride to the hospital.<br><br>
But everything worked out, and he has a lovely name. Just make sure that no matter how rushed you are, his initials don't spell out anything rude. We accounted for monogram too (first, last, middle), just in case.
