We had an appointment with potenial pediatrician. I was nervous asking about his views on vaccines but it wasn't too bad. He's done seminars on vaccinating and autism. He is pro-vax but says ultimately it's up to the parent. He has some who don't vax and another mother who comes and gets each shot separately. He also said he would never push or force anyone to something just b/c he believes in it. He was impressed with the knowledge I had from doing research. Thanks a bunch to you ladies and MDC.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"> He said if I dont' want Hep B vax at birth I just don't sign consent form. They cannot give it to baby without consent.

he and the midwife at OB said that eye ointment is law but I've heard you can still refuse. I emailed state health dept. but haven't heard back yet.
