I should be thankful that mine is not so out of control that it probably can't be controlled by diet and exercise, but I am still feeling very depressed and sad. It's really not 'not a big deal'. I am overwhelmed with how serious the disease can be, and struggling not to freak out/rebel (which tends to be my natural tendancies).

I like the ADA site a lot, but does anyone have any other good resources/groups I can look at? I do not need medical therapy at this time, it's all about the diet and exercise and monitoring myself.

I'm so sad, mamas. I hope this is a normal reaction, I would think so.
