To claim religious exemption one does not have to be of a particular faith. I do not know that there is one particular religion that clearly defines "vaccinations are against our regligious beliefs"...however many religions believe that you should not poison your body...that your body is pure...etc.

Many of us here claim religions exemption (myself included) because we live in states that only allow religious exemptions (no philosophical exemptions) ~ therefore religious exemption is our only way to avoid vaxing our children. Under the NC Statute that allows for religious exemption ~ I only have to write out a statement that indicates vaxing is against our religious beliefs. I do not have to defend that religious belief. However, there are some states (like NY) where the process is a little more difficult.

We don't vaccinate for religious reasons- we believe that God created our bodies and immune systems and vaccines harm that.
