Okay, so I've been using washing soda for years in my laundry, but not necessarily on my dipes. My baby hasn't come yet, so I'm just trying to make sure I know what I need to. Lately I've been using the washing soda/simple green combo for all my laundry. I plan to continue this when I'm washing diapers and I plan to alternate between that and Charlies soap. I am in need of more washing soda and was trying to find the site that you could put in your zip and find who carries it (I've bought it locally on two occasions, but the first store stopped carrying it, had to find another and I'm trying to make sure who has it before I waste gas).

Okay, so here are my two questions....where is that site? I went to the arm & hammer website and couldn't find anything. I did find info on the washing soda, but couldn't find anything on how to locate a store. I really don't want to have to buy this over the web.

NEXT! On the site I noticed that is said NOT to use it on WOOL. I only have two wool covers and I haven't had to wash them and I know there is a special wool wash, that I was planning on buying...BUT I didn't know I COULDN'T ever wash it with my other methods. So did everybody else already know this? If not, I guess I'm actually just passing on info.!

Where is the best place buy and what kind of wool wash is best?

Thanks!

For the washing soda - there isn't a website to put your zip code in, but you can call 1-800-524-1328 and put your zip code in there (you never talk to a real person - it's all automated). Kroger stores pretty much always carry it, I think. But if you don't have one, that number will tell you what does (it only gave me 5 Kroger stores within 30 miles... nothing else sells it here!).

Wool... You don't use regular detergent with wool, so I wouldn't want to use washing soda with it either. You use wool wash or you can use baby soap.

Thanks so much! I did call the number and only ONE store carries it. It's a Harris Teeter. But we have about 5 Harris Teeters and only one of them carries it...I'm not in a real small town either! LOL

Of course it is the one all the way across town (30 - 45 minute drive) and I NEVER go out that way! LOL Oh well, I guess I"ll make the drive and buy another 5 yr. supply! LOL

Thanks!
