When we started cloth diapering, Libby was 10 months and just barely over 16 lb and 28". She was a tiny peanut at the <10% for weight and 90% for height!

8 months later, my little tiny scrawny girl.... 27 lb 8 oz (90%!!!) and 34.5" (100%+) at 18 months!

So in the time we have cloth diapered, she has grown more than 11 lb!!! And gained 6.5" in height.

In the last 3 months alone, she's packed on about 4 lb!

I remember getting her Medium dipes and they were so big on her that I was thinking they'd work till she pottytrained... and now she's in larges for sure! In fact I can barely snap a LHC large on her thighs!!

She's gonna be a tall girl I bet you've been through a lot of dipes!

I know what you mean though, Josh went from 7lbs 7oz and 19 inches at birth to 18lbs and 27 inches at 4 months! So he's quickly outgrowing his mediums! He's huge! Everyone who sees him thinks he's 6-7 months old

Wow!!! Sounds like she could be one of my kids. :LOL Everyone kept telling me with ds1 that he'd slow down around 6 months... then it was a year... He gained 12-13lbs his second year and 6more lbs the next 6 months. I didn't CD him, though.

Wow! Way to grow!

Just remember when she starts crawling/walking a ton she may slim down. You might want to hold onto some of your mediums just in case!

You've got to wonder about those percentages and what "average" really is. At 11 months, Eliza was 17lb and about 29 inches height - yet on our Australian charts, that was 60th percentile for weight! Do you guys breed em bigger over there or something, LOL? She just looked like an average sized baby to me! Smaller than my other two, but they were boys and bigger all along.

Anyhow.... you're obviously doing something right - sounds like she's a beautiful bouncing baby girl. And now you get to buy new stuff as well!

My dd gained exactly 5 lbs in the last YEAR!!! (16lbs 11oz at 12 mo & 21lbs 11oz at 24mo). I think I'd drop of shock if she grew that fast. Tell me your secret... LOL

WOW!!!

that's really big!!

My babes all are huge from about 2 months till a year or so, then they just sorta stop growing or something and look like every other toddler! LOL!

My ds was 21 lbs at 5 mo!!

I constatly was slinging him and some lady at the grocery store said, 'what are you feeding that boy?"

I said "it's all my milk!" she says in dismay "why, that's just NOT POSSIBLE!"

he was huge, and on my hip looks even bigger, I'm so little!!

So if your dd is growing out of larges, what's next? do most wahms stock a toddler size?????

Wow! My dd goes through mega growth spurts like that. She doubled her birth weight by 2 months old but then slowed down for awhile and now she is back to growing 1-2 inches a month and gaining 1lb a month. Good for Libby, you are doing something right mom .
