Not sure we are a nudist family but more body positive and you do what is comfortable and fun for you (with safe boundaries). We've skinny dipped in hot springs in the middle of no where, we us our hot tub au natural, we sleep naked, but I'm cooking and hanging out with cloths on.

I think you have a good approach to nudity and body positivity. It's good to see others can also be relaxed and not all uptight about it.

What exactly does being "body positive" mean? This is a term I have seen a few time but have never been sure of.

For us it means not shaming or judging another’s shape, and recognizing that a person’s body isn’t who they are. Large or small, and everywhere in between every person has worth and dignity, and should be respected.

Body positive is that we except all bodies for what they are. For us, if someone come into the room when I'm changing or getting our of the shower I just calmly let them know I'm naked, same with my husband. We dont yell and quickly cover up because I believe that shows we should be embarrassed of our bodies.

I would rather my kiddos learn what normal bodies look like free of shame or societal sexuality put on it. I would rather them grow up see me occasionally then watch porn in third grade on the bus like I heard recently.

I hate cloths in the summer. We are nude in summer a lot as family.

Yeah, we are as well. Having a rather private pool and hot tub it seems senseless to change into and out of swimsuits all day and in all honesty, today's swimsuits don't hide anything anyway. It's much easier and comfortable being natural and we feel more healthy for all of our body image.
