DS (2.5) will have to have some extensive dental work done, inckuding the extraction of his upper front teeth.<br><br>
He is still nursing day and night, and very attached to "his" boobies <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br><br>
The dentist said he doesn't recommened nursing after the procedure because the sucking could lead to problems at the extraction sites (dry socket or something like that?)<br><br>
Have any of you had experiences with nurslings and dental procedures?<br><br>
DS also uses nursing for comfort, so denying him that after a potentially traumatizing dental experience doesn't feel right to me <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br><br>
But would he even want to/be able to with those open wounds right at the front, where he'd be sucking?<br><br>
Any input would be appreciated <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/innocent.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shy">
