Since both of those are safe for children, I wouldn't be too worried about nursing a toddler.<br><br>
I don't know that much about Echinacea, but vit c is safe at very high levels (thousands of mg) unlike other vitamins which are toxic (like vit. A).<br><br>
I take both while nursing.
thanks so much Mallory and UlrikeDG for the info and links! As we enter cold/flu season, I needed to find out what I could safely do (immune system boosting) while nursing. I will nurse until dd shows signs of self-weaning. For my ds, that meant until he was just over 2 years...<br><br>
