I'm due any old time now and alas, when I pulled out my old nursing bras from just 8 months ago, they are all too small. They are all in the 36-38 D or DD range. Plus size nursing bras apparently start at 42 bandwidth, which is too big.

So I think I need 38F or something around that size. Unfortunately I live in a small town and even driving to the nearest cities doesn't seem like it will be successful for my bra quest. I wish I could just go to Target and walk out with something- sigh.

Anyone have any recommendations for nursing bras in larger sizes? I want one with good support so they aren't hanging low. Online is fine, but I really prefer a place with a decent return policy.

Ugh, I hate this, I am so cheap I can't stand the thought of paying $60 for a nursing bra and then having to pay shipping too and then pay to ship it back if it doesn't fit right, which it likely wont since generally it takes like 10 bras to find a good one.

www.figleaves.com is great. Their prices are pretty inexpensive, returns are easy and they come in literally every size imaginable.

My first choice is anita but I've also had some luck with medela bras (full fit).

I was very happy with both the selection and the customer service at www.birthandbaby.com I haven't been able to buy a bra in "real stores" since I got pg with my first, since I wore a DDD before even getting pg! I've been going to either specialty shops (with little old ladies who insist the bra fits and then I feel compelled to buy the bra even if it really doesnt' fit) or mail order (so I can return bras guilt-free if they don't work for me.) for the past 15 years.

I found that www.breakoutbras.com had a great selection with a wide range of sizes. They were very helpful with sizing.

Once my size stopped adjusting and I was ready for a *real* bra I went to Nordstrom's to get a proper fitting and found out I needed a 38G NOT the 44DD I'd picked out for myself from KMart. They did have an Anita underwire bra in that size. I bought one there and loved how it looked and then later went home and ordered a few more off the internet.
Prior to that I just wore Target nursing tanks.

ETA- Just realized you are still pregnant. Definitely WAIT! I wouldn't buy any fitted bras until at least a month or so post-partum. I also wanted to wait until I was mostly done leaking so that I wouldn't need a bra big enough to stuff pads into.
For me, I really need an underwire to feel like I'm wearing a "real" bra and to feel comfortably going out in fitted, dressy type clothing. However, they really are not a good idea in the beginning when engorgement is such an issue, and some women are so prone to plugged ducts that they can never wear them. I always take mine off as soon as I get back in the house.

ETA2: Maybe you could be more specific about what style you are looking for? There truly are a wide variety available in the ~38F range.

Another vote for birth and baby. I'm in a 40H Medela (and still needing pads at 6 months pp). I'd personally wait until you deliver, though. Good luck!
