The reason I cannot figure out nursing in a sling is because I thought that you were supposed to put the babe tummy to tummy with you when nursing so that dc's head is straight and not having to turn to the side (difficult to swallow that way). So......if that is the case, how on earth do you reach into the sling and resituate them so that they are facing you and then turn them again when you're done? My babe just is too long to fit in a sling on his side anyway....plus, it just seems way to uncomfortable for him to be on his side in a pouch or ring sling because they curve, KWIM? Am I getting this all wrong...would love to be able to nurse in a carrier. Help!
so...don't reach into the sling and try to turn them? Instead just kind of tilt the entire sling, baby and all, toward you? Am I getting this right? And then when you're done you can just let go and it will return to it's original position without having to dig in there to move the babe? Thanks for the help by the way...I just couldn't figure this out
