I would like to do this but I'm mystified with how. I have a ring sling but other than cradle position I can't figure out how to discreetly nurse without taking baby out of sling completely. When she is secure the sling is too tight for moving room and there is the fabric behind her covering my entire chest. What am I missing here?

Usually kangaroo or tummy to tummy. She doesn't like cradle. I'm assuming I have to loosen the fabric to move her around. It just seems easier to take the whole thing off and nurse if I have to go through that kind of trouble. Is there some trick to making it easier without taking baby out?

If you just loosen the sling a bit and get baby positioned and latched on then pull the tail to tighten back up. (use the tail to cover yourself while NIP) Alot of times I'll do this in my parked car before we go into the grocery store or somewhere and my 3 mo DD just nurses herself to sleep while I shop!!! All hands free!! That makes it totally worth it to me and after some practice the whole proceed should take you less than a minute!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"> HTH!
