Thank you Chrissy, for getting the September thread going! I'm on Cd4 and AF is making me crazy. I told dh that we really need to get pg this cycle, because I can't deal with another AF. He has to travel alot for work this month, so it may be tough. Let's hope that this fall will bring us all a bountiful harvest!

Thanks for starting our new thread Chrissy! Can you move me over to the "Waiting for a BFP"? Oh, and here is my chart too...Donna's Chart

Had quite a bit of a dip today...but I had to start temping 1 1/2 hours earlier than I was. :

My daughter is almost 16 months now and I am currently waiting until Tuesday or Wendsday to test. I think I ovulated 2 and half weeks ago, and have not get gotten my first AF. So either this is the same old, same old, or I actually ovulated and then hopefully a test will show a positive, BUT my body is crazy right now and feeling so out of wack. I need to get to a store, I just hate to get my hopes up (I'm sure a lot of you know how that feels)

Anyhow, here's to a great month!!!!!!!

Oh yeah. I tested this morning. Even though I knew I probably wasn't pregnant, there's always that glimmer of hope. And it's so disappointing to see only one red stripe!

I am 13 DPO today, had my first post partum AF on August 5th after what seemed to be a 10 day LP (based on physical symptoms, not charting) I started charting when I got AF.

Here is my chart http://www.FertilityFriend.com/home/ForeverMama

My temps are down, but still above the coverline, I am crampy, but still no bleeding!!

If I don't get AF by tomorrow I will test again (I had a negative at 10 DPO).

Donna (wildthing), your chart looks really good!! Looks like today could have been an implantation dip! I sure hope so.

Lisa, I'm so excited/anxious to see your temp in the morning. I definitely don't think you're out of the game yet. I hope tomorrow morning brings a nice high temp and a bfp to go with it!

So here's my news. Dh and I have been discussing it for awhile and we have finally decided to go see an RE. Maybe I am jumping the gun but Noah is 21.5 months old and only nursing once a day. It seems like that shouldn't be enough to keep me from ovulating and having periods. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to call to make the appointment tomorrow.

Be back soon,

Hello my name is Liba and I am new here! I am hoping to join the expecting club. I have two dds, one 5 and one 31 months. Only my younger dd is still nursing. She goes through spurts or nursing a lot vs only nursing once or twice during the day. I would have preferred to be pregnant already, the spacing between the first two was wonderful... but alas life hasn't been that simple. My older daughter hasn't been well and we were waiting for genetic testing to come back before ttc. We are in the clear now but missed my fertile window last week...

Of all silly things, one of my big fears is that my dd will wean before I get pregnant again. It would be soo sad for me. I have been nursing for almost 64 consecutive months and I guess I need to come to terms with the fact that my 2.5 year old will probably wean before the next baby comes into our family.

I am not sure that I have admitted my weird worry to anyone else, so please don't laugh too hard LOL

I am waiting for AF to rear her ugly head again now! But this month it seems we will be ready to ttc!!

Hi everyone,

I'd like to join this thread too, if I may! I'm nursing my 18 month old daughter and we're going to start TTC'ing this month. My ovulation week should start late next week... if my body actually manages to do so! I had been ovulating for months, but last month was a no go it seems. My daughter has been nursing a lot more though, especially at night, so I guess that's what is happening. We're hoping this month is different - but so far Emma hasn't slowed down much!

So... I guess what I'm saying is that I may be here for awhile! LOL

One quick question - what does BFP stand for? My brain can't quite seem to remember that one (or perhaps I never knew it at all, one never knows...)

Best wishes,
Amber

Well girls, I did it. I made an appointment with the RE. It's much sooner that I thought it would be, a week from today in fact. That's my birthday so I'm hoping I'll have good luck. I go in at 8 am and they said to expect to be there the whole morning. Of course, I'm hoping this will be just the push my body needs and I will either ovulate or get my period before then.

Welcome Amber and Liba!

Liba, I hope your daughter gets well soon and that is great that your genetic tests came back all clear!

I'm going to go update the first post now to add you guys!

I tested last night and got a negative. No period, but I feel so sure I ovulated...the cramping was very intense? The cramping was almost 3 weeks ago. I'm confused, since my body has been changing so much, I really expected AF or to be pregnant, now I am in some wierd fertility limbo. I guess I will just keep waiting, what else can I do?

Anyhow, welcome to the newcomers, may your stay be short and sweet!

Jessviola,
I too would like a more affordable way to test. This week tests were onsale BOGOFree at my local Eckard, so I have another test awaiting me, BUT I don't want to "waste it" You know what I mean. It still costs money and I really hate flushing money down the drain. or so it feels when a BFN shows up.
