My 16 wko digs his hands into my flesh while we are nursing. It HURTS and sometimes leaves broken vessels under the skin. He is also getting to the point where he is becoming easily distracted and starts looking around the room. Will a nursing necklace help this at all?
Has anyone not found them useful?
And where can I find a low cost one?

I make some but they aren't really low cost, however, nursing necklaces do work.

Couldn't you buy some cheap costume jewelry and have it haev the same effect. If that won't work, make one for yourself. I made a nursing bracelet for less than $10 and have enough of everything but the glass beads to make a 2nd.

I've been buying from this Ebay seller for years. I have an awesome nursing necklace I bought 3 years ago that I still wear - it's great! My first ds used to play with it while nursing, AND it has a great advocacy message on it too.

A great cheap alternative is to buy a colorful beaded necklace (I got one at Target for under $10) and re-string it on heavy wire or cord so baby can't break it. I used picture-hanging wire. Ds loves it!
