I bought a bunch of muslin and flannel on clearance. Does anyone know any good patterns for a nursing gown or something of the sort?

Hi! I found this pattern a few weeks ago, and thought it looked great! I'm wondering if its functional as a daytime dress too because i think it's so adorable! There are some other great nursing patterns too if you look around their listings, I love this site!

I had one like that when dd#2 was little. It was ok, but sometimes my boob would stick out the slit if I wore it during the day, and I prefer a wrap top or top slit...

I think I might try making an 18th century shift and doing what I read they used to do-slitting the front down and binding the edges and adding a tie...

Good thing I have pinking shears!

I don't have jersey, either, so the wrap front won't work, nor will that pattern.

Yeah, my apologies, I noticed after i posted that the pattern I recommended called for knitted fabric....woops. Glad to hear your feedback about the design too! I will keep your post in mind if I come accross anything else soon! Good Luck!
