Not sure where to ask this so if it needs to be moved just let me know!

I am getting a few nursing tanks / shirts for once the new baby gets here. mainly a few tanks - are the glamourmom tanks worth it? Do they run big/small? I would prefer something that doesn't "look" like a nusing top where the opening is well concealed.

Any other options? - I saw one at target that is similiar to the glamour mom one
Thanks

I actually don't know what you're talking about with the glamourmom tops, but there are a lot of nursing clothes online - have you checked out

www.motherwear.com

www.expressiva.com

and ebay? Or just run a google search for nursing clothes, you can find some great stuff by Blissful Babes and others.

HTH!

Don't order too many till you try them!! I have a few, and just raising up a regular t-shirt is easier than any of them. I have a hard time opening and closing my bra flap thru the little slit. They are nice when nursing in the sling, cuz your belly stays covered. My current project is to cut slits in men's undershirts(the sleeveless A shirts) and wear them under my reg. shirt, so my belly stays covered when nursing. They're in the dryer now, so I'll let you know. I figure that the layered tank look is in now, so that will fit right in! LOL.

I have a friend that LOVES the nursing tank she got from Target. Try used clothing or consignment stores, or ask at a LLL meeting to see if anyone there has any they are getting rid of or can suggest for you to get locally.

Good luck, and congrats on your babe!!

I have a friend who swears by the glamourmom tanks. They're the only ones she wears. And they don't look at all like a nursing top. I thought they were rather expensive but then I buy all my clothes in thrift shops.

I also preferred the lift the flap nursing shirts rather than the ones with just openings. It was really hard to keep my newborn latched on and I wasn't comfortable with the amount of boob that showed with the tops with openings.
