My ds is two y old, and he self regulates what he eats. He is a very thin boy - app 105 cm and 13 kg. From time to time I am asked why I do not give him nutritional supplements - "At least it wont hurt him" they say. But I hesitate - what if it can... Is it possible that such supplements can interfere with his fine tuned self regulation mechanism? I want to trust him and his ability to choose the foods he needs. But even more so I want to assure that he is as healthy as can be.

What do you think? Should I offer him supplements? Can it hurt him? Do you supply supplements to the children under your care?
