I'm from NY and i wish they had this law when i was working full time when DD#2 was 6 months old... i always had to pump in a restroom :puke<br><br>
and i worked in a nursing home.. you would think working the graveyard shift i could have used an office at night <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll">

I'm very happy about this! I'll be able to extend breastfeeding my son when I return to work as a teacher.

That is so great! I wished I lived there lol. I’m in Florida and have no laws to protect me at work. When I return to work I will have to pump in the restroom. I asked for one of the conference rooms to have a lock and blind installed but I was told “we need to take into consideration the comfort of all our employees” and I guess some employees aren’t comfy with me pumping in a locked room that they can’t see into!

This is a travesty. And I don't use that word lightly. I am SO sorry. Nice to know that your coworkers are not comfortable with you pumping in a completely closed off conference room but they are fine with you pumping in a restroom.<br><br>
