Does anyone have any favorite spots for used children's clothing in New York City?

I bought a huge chunk of my dd's wardrobe last year at Go Fish in Brooklyn - just about cried when I found out it closed (and I trekked there from Queens). I'd even be willing to go into Nassau County for somewhere good. TIA.

Jane's Exchange is on Avenue A and 12th Street, near Tompkins Square Park.
You can usually find some nice things there.
It's a consignment shop, too, so you can make an appointment to bring stuff you don't need, and when it sells you get a percentage of the sale price to either get as cash (within 30 days of sale) or credit in the store.

Flying Squirrel, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is great!
They are on North 6th Street, between Berry and Wythe Ave, which is pretty close to the Bedford Avenue L train stop, if you're coming by subway.

They have a great selection of used baby, toddler, and kid's clothes, as well as toys and other baby gear (some strollers, exersaucers, boppy pillows, bedding, etc.). They also have some new stuff, including a nice selection of books and toys.

They opened last year, and the owners, Judith and Kate, are so nice and friendly. Every time I go there, I find something nice.

They also buy used clothes, toys, baby gear, etc.
Prices are very good, too. Definietly worth the trip to Williamsburg.

I was just in there the other day (got my pixie a couple pair of shorts) and signed some sort of petition to help them get a new space. I was absolutely wiped out from a full day in the blazing sun and didn't take the time to ask what was up, but I gathered from the top of the petition that they are probably getting pushed out by the landlord and the crazy price increases in this town and were looking for some kind of subsidized space as they could be considered a cummunity resource.

Real estate prices are totally nuts here. And not just for buying. I read in a article in the NYT yesterday that Erica Wilson's store on Madison Av. is closing because the rent has gone up to something like $20,000 per month from $4000 (I think, I can't remember and my DH has already put the papers in the recycling bin) for a second floor shop! Not even street level. And it wasn't that big! (In case you don't know, Erica Wilson is the scholar of needlework: http://www.smilingsheep.com/desbiog.html the 3rd designer down the page.)
