I am in a bad situation, and I can't take care of my 2 very loved dogs.
DD is 6 wks and with reflux and now I have to find someplace to live. I stayed at a domestc violence shelter for a bit but I just couldn't adjust to all the kids yelling and the swearing, so I really can't take my dogs with me.

Does anyone know a place or someone who can help me find them a good home? they are very attached to each other, sleep indoors but like to spend thir days outside playing. One is a chihuahua mix and the other an american staffordshier (sp?) I was going to call Country Pet Resort in Kaneohe, I know they rescue pets from humane society sometimes.

TIA

I would take them but we're up to our ears in pets (4 cats, 1 rabbit, and 1 dog).

Are you giving up your dogs for good? Or, are you looking for foster care until you get back on your feet?

How about the Hawaii Dog Foundation? It's a no-kill animal shelter. Here's the link to their website. http://www.hawaiidogfoundation.org/

I hope things get better for you soon.

No, I am looking for permanent home for them.. They love attention and they are being overlooked.

I don't want to take them to a shelter because I wantthem together, plus they sleep n a bed of their own.
I have sometime, hopefully I can find someone who will be kind enough to let me visit them.

I don't have any answers. You could put up a flyer at my son's preschool. I could put it up for you.

I hope everything is ok. It sounds like you are going through a really rough time. Is there anything else I can do to help?

some days better than others, but I'm taking everything one step at a time. things always get better.
I just feel bad aout dogies, but they'll be happier in a home where they can get the attention they need.
