I finally did a search oatmeal to find out the difference between rolled oat, quick oats etc. I couldn't understand the comments that soaking oats makes them cook up faster then not soaking. I was think "how much faster do you want them to cook up? Impatient people are we."
Now I understand that is referring to steel-cup oats since they are not crushed like rolled oats. Got it.
