I'm requesting tons of cervyx tight closed and still plenty long vibes. I've been contracting for about a week and a half now, it's been worse the last 2 days. I have had issues with pre-term labour/dilation in the past...but 13 weeks is way to early for dilation. I feel hopefull because I started contracting at 12 weeks with DS and didn't start dilating till 19 weeks (and he wasn't born till 39 weeks)...but with how painful these contractions have gotten in the past 48 hours I'm getting more worried.

My cervyx is still closed!

But, they couldn't fine a heart beat with the doppler so they did an ultrasound...the baby is measuring pretty small based on the dating ultrasound for 8 weeks(it measured 11w4d today, I am 13w3d based on ultrasound dating and 14w2d based on date of conception). So they wanted me back in 2 weeks, to do my first cervical length ultrasound (then I'll do the second one at 18 weeks) and check growth again. They didn't have an appt. opening till March 12th with a peri, and they didn't want me to see a CNM or an OB, so it's a little longer than 2 weeks.

I'm not to worried, except that this is the same practice I saw with Janelle who were forever just changing her duedate, which as left us really confused on wether she was a preemie or had IUGR, or if she was just a really tiny full term infant (this is what I usually lean to...). But, anyway, Janelle always measured small, so I am figuring just a tiny baby again.
