i bought a book for my dd's easter basket called 'barack obama: son of promise, child of hope' by nikki grimes and illus by bryan collier. it is so wonderful!!! i highly recommend it for those of you who like him too.

We have this book... bought it during the election. I like that it is based on his own memoir, Dreams from My Father, which I loved. This book does a great job of factual storytelling, always a tricky thing in juvinelle non-fiction.
