I read those bios, and several of them remind me so much of my husband. Others make me think of friends of mine, or at least people I've met along the way in college. So much lost.

To everyone affected by this, or any other senseless death for that matter--I am so very sorry, and my thoughts continue to be with all of you.

I needed to get the scarey images of the shooter out of my head.

I am so heart broken over it all. I wore my orange and maroon today.

Such diversity - students, professors, Americans, foreigners, people from all different ethnicities and backgrounds, they came to teach, to study...now they're gone. So sad and so senseless.

If you ever hear the media say something like "a record number died"; remember that the message a statement like that sends to people who think like this killer is: "try and beat that number - bet you can't". This, unfortunately, one of the reasons why there are copycat incidents shortly after. It's the little statements like that being made constantly; and they should choose their wording more carefully!!

I am so disappointed in MDC for deleting my previous post which was in response to this post!

so sad. no reason. i wish everyone felt loved, listened to and secure so stuff like this wouldn't happen.

I was not "speculating" that this troubled man's parents did not practice gentle parenting. I was simply agreeing with the previous poster that AP needs to be promoted so that people grow up "feeling loved, secure and listened to so stuff like this wouldn't happen." These were the original words that I was responding too.

The complaints came from people who were assuming that I was criticizing the parents of Cho. Seems like there was a lot of speculating going on in their mind, not mine.

I am really disappointed.
