Has anybody seen this new show on the WB? It's perfectly awful! It is set up like American Idol, but they are trying to find the worst singers in the country. Thing is, none of the people they pick realize they are bad singers. The show is going to fly them to Hollywood, give them voice and dance lessons (though not to improve them), and have them shop for expensive cars and houses. Then, a televised competition will narrow it down to the "best" (read: worst) singer, and they will tell them, on camera, in front of an audience, that it was an elaborate practical joke, and that they really can't sing. It's sick!

All that is set up to do is break peoples hearts. How sad. They shouldn't be allowed to do that for entertainment. You're right... It is sick.

I was disgusted to see this. To set out to deliberately humiliate people on national tv, what good is that? sick.

I've heard, although I don't know if it is true, that the audience members were told that the singers were in the Make-A-Wish foundation, which is how the producers got them to applaud. I wonder if it is true.

I saw the coming attractions to this and I refuse to watch. I think it is going to be horrible when the ppl figure out what the show is really about. I mean how embarassing, and I would think illegal. I mean usually you have to sign contracts when you do something like this, if they lied in the contracts they could get in big trouble, but I bet most ppl just sign so they can get their asses on tv

I just think it is horrible and refuse to watch. I can't even begin to imagine how much this could really damage a person.<br><br>
I think it is wrong in general to laugh at other's expense, but to dedicate a show to it without their knowledge...EVIL<br><br>

I can't believe how low the media in this country has sunk. I just hope that the show is a flop, and that the producers make a public apology to everyone involved. And I can't believe they found three people willing to be "judges" and lie like that. surfing the channels, I did catch about 4 minutes of the show. They had a talented singer and they stopped him cold. One jugde said, "Knock knock" and the auditioner smiled and said "who's there"...(probably thinking the judge would say 'opportunity' or something) and the judge said, "YOU SUCK!!" I flipped it off.
