I turned my head for FIVE SECONDS ... it was the wrapper to a Quaker Chewy granola bar, I think he downed about half of it. What should I do? He ate a little corner of a similar wrapper a few months ago, and it passed fine in in his stool, but I think he got a much bigger piece this time. [email protected])([email protected]! Should I call the doctor? Wait until he seems to be in pain or spikes a fever? Oy, babies! Why do they have to eat everything?!

You are not a bad mom. Swallowed candy bar wrappers usually don't cause fevers. Don't worry and watch for the mystery item in his stool later.

Yeah, I meant he would get a fever if the foreign object perforated his insides.
But I guess I'm a worry wart. It's so hard to watch Every.Single.Thing.They.Do!! I swore after the last time, I'd never let it happen again. I guess you can't swear those things. Dammit, I really think he got a good bit of it, though! Argh. Thanks, Tanya. I know it should just pass on through, but dammit, I shouldn't have been trying to do 9 things at once!
