It's killing me!! My memory of late pregnancy symptoms is kind of foggy so this may very well be a totally normal thing. Anyone else feel like the baby is pressing down so hard and is about to fall out? My appt is tomorrow so I'll talk to them about it then....but until then I feel like I have to keep my legs up and crossed!! (I'm only half joking!!)

i just have this slight aching/heaviness/pressure feeling in my cervix...i was wondering if maybe this was the beginning of some ripening or something? i'm due february 1, so i have less than a month left (-ish...)

Same here! I don't remember my cervix getting so much attention last time - so I'm chalking it up to an upcoming faster labor and non posterior baby - DS was almost 32 hours and posterior.

I've been wondering about this! This is my 3rd baby, but my youngest is now 6, so i'm a little foggy on the details Some days he's pushing down so hard it's almost a sharp pain--and some times when I get up to go to the bathroom I feel like i should grab "down there" to keep him in!

Hoping this means all is well, and he's getting ready the way he should. I could do with a slightly slower labor though, as my now 6yo's was 3 hours, and my 7yo's was 5 hours!

I feel it especially when I pee, like if I push it out hard enough, the baby might start to come with it. If only it were that easy!

Yep. I am convinced that I will have a couple of contractions by the time real labor sets in and then my husband will just have to catch this baby before it hits the floor.I've been having so many braxton hicks. I'm afraid to check to see if I am dialated. I still have 7 more weeks to go until 40 and I need to get to at least 36 for a homebirth.

Baby has moved in the last 24 hours and is trying to see how low he/she can get.. I really hope this pressure doesn't last for the next 7 weeks! I didn't expect baby would move down already.

Mine was really low and down, but moved up again last night and is now migrating down again.

Maybe its just testing the waters?

I'm so relieved it moved back up, I was worried about having an early baby (I don't want to be in the hospital any longer than I absolutely have to)
