my DH knitting!!!!!
I bought some knitting things the other day and a book called "Learn to knit in 10 minutes" Well I pretty much threw the thing at the wall, it was not easy at all. So tonight I guess he decides to pick it up and give it a try. Well what do you know, that booger actually was knitting in 10 mintues!
: I told him that he was now in charge of learning to knit soakers and he was to start making them for both kiddos. :LOL
He said, ok if it will keep you away from the credit card.

So I may get my homemade wool soakers after all! Sometimes my DH amazes me!

Ok, this is totally off topic but I just noticed this smilie.
Did anyone notice that she passes out after hanging all of the clothes! :LOL She didn't always do that did she? That's too funny!

Ok, now back to my amazing DH!

I think my children would be motherless if I saw dh knitting... b/c I'd just die of a coronary right then and there.
: Heck, I can't even get him to finish the deck and he's a carpenter.

So was he using nice soft wool?? Was he making a scarf?
: (seems like I made a lot of scarves trying to learn to knit
My mama tried to teach me the womanly arts, but only the sewing and cooking seems to've stuck)

Right now it's just the practice square that comes with the book, but I'm sure the next thing will be a scarf. He's just using some yarn I picked up at Wal-Mart, I'm not even sure it's wool.

Where is the best place to get a soaker pattern and where can I buy wool?

My husband, he can pee standing up and knit! Now there's a man

I find that funny and am having a hard time not laughing out loud. I asked to use the puter tonight to do work and am on the boards and DH would know I am just playing around if I started laughing. I am trying to picture my DH knitting I don't think it would ever happen though.

If it is from WM it is acrylic. I got a pattern from littleturtleknits.com but still haven't learned how to knit. I just ordered their learn to knit kit though- so maybe now. I would think adding cuffs or shorts to that pattern would be easy- but what do I know/?
