Who else is getting anxious?!?!

Lurking on Feb DDC and reading all the birth announcements has me eagerly anticipating my lil' bean!
It will only be a few more weeks until we are holding baby! :

I can't help but feel like I am DONE now though! :
Anyone else feel this way!?

I loved being pregnant with DD, but my thought is that was because I was scared of being a First time Mom. Now that I know what I'm doing I want the baby~Not the belly!!

How's everyone else feeling?!?

I am feeling a little anxious also. I just got my birth kit today. I should be getting some other things I ordered for the birth also today. I go from feeling totally ready to have the baby to feeling like this baby shouldn't come out for another year or so Of course I am only 35 weeks, so my tune may be changing here in a couple of weeks.

I am excited yes but I still have so much to do before the baby gets here. DH and I have finaly found an apartment that we like and are moving March 1st. I still have to get the house ready, get together a birth kit in case I decide to just stay at home to have the baby. That possiblity is greater now knowing that I will no longer be at MIL's. Plus DD has a lot of changes coming up in the next month so I hope that she will be ok with it all. I am just glad that I am not due until March 28th and I am hoping that I will be a little late and go in the 1st week of april.

I'm trying to hold off on being too excited or anxious because I'm not really "due" until April. I am measuring ahead though, which I have never done before, so I'm wondering if maybe our babe will make its debut in the end of March. It still seems so distant to me, so I don't want to get too ramped up yet or it will seem like an eternity!

Oh, I'm sooo anxious! I have had enough of being pregnant! Just a few more weeks left I suppose, now that I'm term I really wish the baby would come right NOW!!

Deffinitly getting more & more scared about the actual labor & birth process, only because I have no idea what to expect!! I'm hoping I can manage the pain alright!

Hmm, I'm feeling Not Done. In fact, the other night contractions were strong and got down to 3 min apart, 60 sec long... and frankly, well, I panicked. Yep, just panicked. Scared the poor baby into staying longer I guess, because contractions finally went away when I fell asleep. So over the weekend I did my best to get everything organized and ready.... and today I am feeling much closer to being ready. Isn't it amazing how many Feb moms have had their babes already? It really is exciting! I'm excited to have the babe, but I'm kind of freaking about the pushing stage for some reason.. I guess because it was so intense with dd.

hey FLMama, that's great that you are moving!!

I'm ready I suppose...but I still dont have my hosp. bag packed, baby bag packed, no going home outfit or babybook....and I'm not even wanting to get these things together. Would someone come over and help me? lol.
I just want her....I dont want labor or delivery, I dont want ppd....I just want the ups man to drop her off, wouldnt that be nice.
I feel this overwhelming urge to get these things done but I just cnt seem to get going, something always comes up...and by the time dh gets home in the evenings I just want to eat dinner take a bath and go to bed. I need to buy some things from Target but I dont want to take all 3 kids with me. They always cry and whine for toys...
So maybe I'm not ready after all.....

I am 34 weeks today and I am definately pacing myself. We are still hoping and praying that we get to travel to Guatemala in the next few weeks, yes, I'm pushing it! That is what is on my mind now, our adoption, as opposed to the birth.

I did get most of my cloth diapers last week, they're all washed and ready to go! I need to wash all of the baby clothes still and get the carseat cleaned up and ready. Like I said, I'm pacing myself, trying to do one thing each week. I don't want to be "sitting around" waiting, although that is highly unlikely as I have 5 other children at home (we homeschool) so the idea of me sitting around is funny!

That's where I am. My baby boy will be here in about 4 weeks!

Blessings,

I'm not due until April 1st. I'm hoping this one will come a week early like my first, but even if that happens I have a while!!

I'm doing pretty well, I think, on being prepared. At least I have all the necessary stuff done/ready. Now I'm just looking at some finishing touches for the nursery, etc.

I can't believe how close some of you are!! Very exciting!

I'm excited but not entirely ready at the same time. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of my signature and scare myself! It the baby came tomorrow, technically we'd be fine with what's done but there's still a lot that I would like to get done before the big day.

I am getting excited, but I still need every day of the next 4.5 weeks to really feel ready. I am so preoccupied with the baby's position and completely obsessed with making sure she doesn't flip back to breech. As long as she stays vertex, I am happy.

Sounds like we are all right on the same page!
I am more ready than ever for this baby to come out!
But am I prepared? No!
DH and I have been arguing over car seats (so I don't have one for the newbie), no bag packed, no breast pump (although I think I may wait on this. I didn't pump well with DD, and if I can't pump with this one then I can't go back to work ~ ~ So I'm not ready to fork over a ton of $$ just yet!). I have not yet registered at the hospital (would love to try a home birth, but think this one will be a c/s like DD). Since we are moving at the end of April (and I don't even want to THINK of packing during my babymoon!) I'm trying to get that all done in these last few weeks....but I am doing it at a snail's pace! LOL!

But if baby were to come early....as far as my mental readiness.....YUP!
I'm ready!! :

I'm trying to not be anxious and excited but it's so hard now that I'm down to those weekly appointments and being considered "full term". I am soo ready to hold and meet this little one, and getting sooooo anxious to find out the sex, I just want to know already, lol!!
We do have things I still need to do like wash diapers, baby clothes, and get a van! My mom comes next week so it would be easier if he or she waited at least till then so we would have the extra help. I'm also so much more uncomfortable this time around, I think this is going to be a big baby because he or she has taken up every bit of space from resting on my sciatic nerve to filling up my ribcage, and that is no fun.

All in all though these last weeks are always the hardest for me just because of the anticipation of it being "any time now".

I think I'm the opposite of all of you - I'm completely prepared as far as having clothes washed, the car seat installed, etc. But mentally ready to have a baby instead of a belly? NO WAY!

DH is, though. He keeps telling me he "can't wait to meet [the baby]." I don't know why I'm so reluctant about it, esp. knowing he'll be here sooner rather than later (thanks to pre-e). I think it's still a little abstract to me, and a little scary at times, to know there will be a little person living here soon

I'm beyond ready to be done with being pregnant! Somebody's fat body is squishing my sciatic (sp?) nerve all day long which is just killing me. Plus for the first 6 months I felt nomovement at all and now s/he's going wild in there kicking all day right into my ribs.

However, I have basically nothing prepared. I have bags of baby clothes, a few diapers, a head rest, a nursing coverup and some suppies but that's it. I'm registered for some great baby stuff so we'll see what I end up with after the shower! Plus, I ordered my home birth kit last week. As much as I've been advocating waiting until the baby is ready, I'm kinda contemplating guzzling down castor oil as soon as I get to week 39. I'm only at week 34 now but if my sciatic nerve is going to be a fetal headrest for the restof this pregnancy I want out fast!

I'm anxious in terms of not knowing what to expect from labor and birth. DH is going out of his mind that we don't have a carseat yet. (We're getting one this weekend.) Otherwise, I'm still feeling pretty good, so I'm ok with her taking her time making an appearance.

Of course, I'm only 34 weeks... ask me again in two or three weeks.

: I feel as though - if I had one of those "I'm ready, take me out of the oven" pop up things like you have on turkeys - mine would be up!

So as with some of you - I am physically in my body ready but still have so much to do: order birth kit, have baby shower (being thrown by MIL next week saturday), put crib up (even though she'll be in our room the first couple months I just want it DONE! - finish getting supplies together...and so on.

I am SOOO excited about birthing at home though! My birth with ds was so completely "intervened" (drugs up the wazoo!) that dh never really got to help me labor! He's been so good helping me at home with the SUCKY : braxton hicks that I'm getting even more excited we'll be able to do this together this time!

I think that's your belly button! At least that's what mine looks like.

This is our last baby, so I'm really trying to enjoy this time-- even though I'm fairly uncomfortable. I am really anxious to see what (who) this baby looks like, too.

My official due date is 3/31, so I'm guessing it'll be more like April, but my dd was born on her due date, so that could happen again . . . .

My feet can not swell anymore without exploding. :

My abdominal skin can not stretch anymore without getting a new stretch mark every day!!!

I am SO very ready to meet this baby and have this "bowling ball in the sotmach" feeling gone! I am getting very uncomfortable and I am done being pregnant. Everything is ready and waiting for baby, it's just a matter of getting her OUT!
