What should I do with them?

I decided that I wanted to squeeze multiple weird fruits into my tiny suburban lot, and planted one red currant. Last year I got about 12 berries, but this year they finally look great and I'd say they're just about ripe. There are probably 2-3 cups total..not a lot, but enough for something.

I'm a very good tart baker...anyone got a recipe for a currant tart?

Any other ideas for fresh use? I remember a lady I knew floated them in her tea for fruit tea...that was good, but that's all the ideas I have...

I dry them and use them to make currant scones and other baked goods, and I bet it would work with fresh ones. Also, currant jam is yummy.

i use the dried ones in place of raisins in my irish soda bread. yum!
